Service: Poor The check in did not go well. Yes, you already have our money and it is definitely routine for you, but its not routine for the renter. So a little courtesy goes a long way with getting renters to return. We arrived at the office, door bell chimed and we waited for at least 10 mins and then started walking around to try to find someone. To our surprise, a lady was sitting behind a counter the whole time, never bothered to greet us or acknowledge our prescence. Then it was a read this, sign this, follow these directions! Goodbye! Location: Good You do need to tell winter renters that the road up to this cabin is posted for 4-wheel drive vehicles. We were fortunate to receive a beautiful 6" snowfall overnight. But if we HAD to get out that day, we couldn't have because we weren't informed of the posting. Cabin: Top notch Mystic Ridge is beautiful, comfortable, and well furnished. We reccommend it highly. Best Asset: Luxury furnishings & decor Least Asset: The abundance of active lady bugs. The lady bugs would fall from the dining room chandelier into your food or drink. Lots of dead flies in the windows.

What lovely cabin!

Our cabin was cozy and comfortable. It had all the necessities for cooking and relaxing. The kids loved the pool table and the adults loved the hot tub and football table. The only thing that was missing was games for the Wii and a mixer. We bought a mixer and left it there and rented a few games, but there were slim pickins at the local video store. Over all it was a wonderful place to stay and enjoy our Thanksgiving holiday! Our view was incredible and we will be back someday!

Beautiful setting!

This is my second experience with Great Cabins and I will definitely call on them again. Mystic Ridge is fabulous and has a very good view. It is not isolated, but gives the impression that it is. We had a rainy day, so it was nice to have the foosball and pool tables. We appreciated the fireplace with gas logs. The kitchen was adequately appointed. If you want to bake, bring your own pans. I especially liked sitting on the porch and taking in the autumn colors. My one complaint--ill-fitting sheets on the master bed.

amazing breath taking veiws!!!

this place is awesome!!! they leave nothing out on furnishing this place there is plenty of dishes to cook a meal for your family,the downstairs total ent. for the teenagers,love the speakers outside to listen to music,we were booked for 7 nights and ended up staying 8 nights you are secluded and your veiws are amazing!!! the ppl at great cabins are the best ppl to rent from I wouldnt go anywhere else this is are 2nd yr renting from them and they totally top other places they are so friendly and make your stay enjoyable.this place is totally worth the money!!! make sure to order a fruit basket they do a really good job on them

An absolutely beautiful place!

Our stay at Mystic Ridge was wonderful!! First of all, the service at Great Cabins was amazing! The house was very clean and the view was spectacular!! We enjoyed very nice day hikes (being so close to Smokey Mountain National Park) followed by a relaxing time in the hot tub. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a tranquil vacation with a large group. I will definitely rent from Great Cabins again!!

Awesome!

This vacation exceeded our expectations. The cabin along with the surrounding area was just beautiful. The staff at Great Cabins in the Smokies were pleasant, kind and very helpful. The cabin was nicely decorated and suited our family just right. The only way it could of been better if someone would have cooked our meals for us. The Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is beautiful. We enjoyed the close proximity of the Smoky Mountain Park with its beautiful trails, picnic area, streams, falls and wildlife. We have walked away with a lot of nice memories and cannot stop talking about this trip. We definitely want to come back in the future.

Beautiful Rest!

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our group. My parents and 3 children, husband and I, all had plenty of room to spread out and relax while enjoying each other's company! We didn't even leave the cabin for a couple of days! Very wonderful!

A Wonderful Christmas !

We stayed here the week of Christmas.There were 10 of us total,8 adults and 2 children.The cabin was decorated Beautiful inside and out.The cabin is beautiful,roomy and very comfortable.The service we recieved fom the rental agency was Great.I cant think of anything we did not Love about Mystic Ridge.We will definately be back.My mother is 63 and said this was the Best Christmas she ever had.Thank You for everything Great Cabins in the Smokies.

Mystic Ridge is Part of Heaven!

When I thought of a "cabin," I thought rustic and small. Mystic Ridge is a palace as far as we were concerned. This is a very spacious and beautifully decorated home. No detail has been left out. It is located very high on the mountain so the views are extraordinary. It is ideal for 3-4 families to stay there and have privacy at the same time. While the home is exquisite, it is also very comfortable. The beds are awesome-comparable to a 5 star hotel. The area has endless things to do outisde of the home however we truly enjoyed spending the evenings there, cooking on the grill and eating on the patio. I would give Mystic Ridge my highest recommendation as a vacation destination. There is nothing not to like!
